  We love Savannah and 121 W Jones is an excellence location. Overall we find the Parlor nicely decorated and a pleasant atmosphere. There are a few issues that should be addressed and they seem to linger from our previous stays:
  1. It is extremely annoying that we are not allowed to enter the parlor by the front door. The explanation we were given is not logical. I was able to find replacement parts for the locks on-line. They are not original. The locks have worked fine in the past.
  2. The shower water temperature lacks adjustment. We had to request assistance and the solution was at best temporary.
  3. The kitchen facet needs to be replaced; it works on spray only and not well at that.
  4. The bathroom sink stopper needs to be repaired - minor repair.
  Our request for assistance with the shower was promptly addressed on Monday morning.
  With the above exceptions we had a very nice stay and look forward to staying again.

  121 W. Jones Parlor was an excellent accommodation and location during the time my daughter had her SCAD MFA Fibers Thesis Exhibition. Since she lives in the garden apartment, we were able to coordinate easily for guests, gallery prep, reception food prep, and ease of parking. The large kitchen was a huge help. While the apartment was great overall, there were several maintenance issues that need repair: kitchen faucet was not secure in the counter, 2 dirty/greasy baking sheets left in the ovens on check-in, towel bar not secure in the bathroom, dishwasher would not start, and dead bolt on kitchen door not working well. Otherwise, it is a beautiful apartment with quite a history and location. We would recommend it to others.

  My husband and I found this gem and stayed almost a week with our poodle. The location was perfect and it was completely stocked with everything you will need. There was assigned parking in back so not on the street. We walked everywhere and hardly used the car. Bed was comfortable and bathrooms clean. The washer and dryer was a plus. You will not go wrong renting this place. The only negative is that you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the entrance so if you have issues climbing stairs this place is not for you.

  This vacation rental was just perfect for my husband, myself and our baby. There is one bedroom and we had ample space to set up the pack and play in another room. This home is beautifully appointed and has everything we needed for our stay. We loved using the side porch which overlooks Jones St. and the best part was the parking spot, located directly in the back of the property. Traveling with a baby means having a lot of stuff, and we appreciated having our car at the property and not having to deal with street parking or a parking garage. We have been to Savannah many times and parking is always an issue. When we come back - we will definitely book this property again!

  Beautiful apartment in a great location with excellent parking. The unit really gives you a feeling of benng part of Savannah life. If they just did a few small things I would rate it a 5. 1. It has very very little space for clothing and kitchen supplies, they need a dresser and clean out a few shelves. 2. They need a side table on both sides of the bed. 3. They need to do some repairs on the stairs leading to the unit. That is a accident waiting to happen. So a little bit of work would make this a 5.

  We stayed for six weeks and found the apartment well equipped, clean and well laid out. There was an issue with the A/C when we arrived but a visit from a serviceman sorted that out. The people at Cora Bett Thomas were excellent and solved the problem we were having with the streaming TV as well as sorted out a parking issue.
  Jones Street is a beautiful location and the historic district a wonderful pace to stay.

  We stayed for a week in this historic home on Jones St. in a remarkably beautiful and convenient part of Savannah. We walked everywhere we wanted to go, and enjoyed being able to do so. We enjoyed restaurants, tours, and shopping and never had to get the car out to do so.
  The house was pretty clean; I had to clean some grime out of the fridge when we got there and the whole place would benefit from some dusting. My biggest disappointment was not being able to use the patio overlooking Jones St. . It was very dirty, and hadn’t been touched for a while.
  But, the house is beautifully furnished with period pieces ; it is quite impressive.Although we had many neighbors within the house, everyone was quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all.Overall, it was a nice stay and we would be happy to stay here again.

  This is the most elegant vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The unit’s decor is done in a classic French style, much like a very high end apartment in Paris. This place is made for entertaining.
  
  The kitchen is a foodie’s dream: double ovens, every utensil you could imagine to cook with. The outdoor spaces are lovely as well. The back space was great for morning sun, while the covered area was great for wine after a day of sightseeing.
  
  Location was also a huge selling point...you can walk the entire historic district, easy access to downtown.

  My wife and I spent 12 wonderful days in this “parlor unit”. There are 4 levels to the building and this unit is on the level above the basement unit. It is an exceptional unit located on the most beautiful corner in Savannah (W. Jones St and Barnard). Easy walking to River Street, Forsythe Park, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is a parlor, large dining room, living room with large TV (Xfinity cable with DVR and premium apps i.e., Netflix etc). Living room also has a bar area with a bar refrigerator (1/2 for wine bottles and 1⁄2 for beverages). Antique and high-end furnishings throughout. The bedroom has a closet but no drawer storage (we used the drawers in the bathroom). It is very quiet at night. The bathroom has a full-service Grohe? shower, but no tub. Kitchen has high-end appliances throughout.
  
  Some things to note:
  • Included with the unit is parking in the rear of the building that is large enough to tandem park 2 vehicles.
  • The entrance to the unit is in the rear, off the alley. You will need to navigate 12 concrete steps that were constructed prior to OSHA requirements, meaning the rise is more than you are probably familiar with. Large heavy suitcases are not recommended.
  • The clothes dryer is not vented to the outdoors, therefore it has a “drawer” at the top that collects the moisture from the clothes. When that drawer is full of water the clothes will not dry. Pull out the drawer and empty the water into the shower.
  • The ceiling fan on the porch is controlled by a remote control in a drawer near the coffee maker. It took me 9 days to figure that out. No one I know can figure out a location for a wall switch. It’s still a mystery how to turn on the light associated with the fan.
  • Despite what Yelp might indicate, there are no grocery or gourmet stores within walking distance. There are only three I would recommend; Publix,

  The address I had booked was 405 E Jones Garden. At around 7pm on our check in date I received an email with this property’s address and a revised quote for double the amount I had booked for. Apparently they switched my reservation at the last minute. We are flexible people so it worked out fine and we had a nice weekend, but it was frustrating that we went to the 1st address first and couldn’t get in. They ended up honoring the original quote. There was never any apology or explanation.
