  Beautiful property with lots of space and amenities. Accommodations and parking were exactly as described. Check in and out was easy and management company was responsive. We had an issue with shower while there only extremely hot water would work, when we got a hold of maintenance sounded like this was a known issue which is frustrating. We only used the shower that one time during our short stay but it should have been addressed before our stay. The back porch is basically unusable because it’s clearly tough to keep the cushions clean since it’s uncovered. The front porch was lovely in the morning and a fan makes it comfortable. The furnishings bring together the charm and everything was clean. The unit is stocked with lots of dishes and glasses for socializing. Overall we would definitely go back next time in Savannah.

  The location was wonderful - and on a beautiful street - so close to Forsyth Park and other notable buildings. My issue (why I didn't give you a five-star rating) had to do with the cleanliness of the property (dirty socks in bedroom from a previous guest, dirty pot holders, absolutely NO Kleenex anywhere in the unit, a furnace that would not go above 63 degrees when it got cold at night, no cable TV - forcing us to stream our own or sign up for other streaming devices (really!!!). It's the smaller 'things' that turned into big 'things'. My husband was so cold two evenings he wanted us to leave and find a hotel. After what I paid for this, I told him he had to add some blankets when he was sitting in the chair. Yikes! Granted, Savannah did have a cold spell and it's an old building, however you've got to prepare for this for your guests. Note: I am a retired travel agency co-owner - have traveled and inspected properties for decades, so I'm not just someone 'off the farm'. My comments have validity and I suggest you take them to heart. Thank you

  We enjoyed our stay immensely! It is a lovely location and property. It felt like we were transported to the South! The bed and bedding was great and the street was amazingly beautiful.
  A couple of easy things I would recommend would be to have nightstands on both sides of the bed, we propped up some pillows to make a faux nightstand but would have loved to have phone plug-ins and a place for glasses handy, especially after driving all day, the last thing we wanted to do was crawl on the floor to find an outlet. The other thing would be to have directions for the Ninja coffee pot, I was so looking forward to the "coffee bar" and was sad that I had to google directions and go out and buy creamer & coffee first thing. Those 2 things would have taken it to an A+. The front walkway into the property could use a good scrub, but I understand it is off-season :). Really appreciated that they were able to move our trip by a day as well! Very good experience over all

  Have rented a few times from Cora Bett Thomas for locations on Jones Street. This unit did not disappoint! By far the 2 best features at this location was the side porch facing Jones Street and a parking spot was provided. We spent many hours on the porch. And the convenience of having dedicated parking was invaluable! The unit was very clean and kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. I will mention some negatives (minor): The sofa/sectional on the backporch entry needs to be removed...broken tables and in complete disrepair. Quite the eye sore. Not the first thing you want to see when you arrive. The can opener in the kitchen does not work and needs to be upgraded. There should be something in the shower to place shampoo/cond/soap, etc. Right now it has to be placed on the floor. The curtains throughout the unit need some TLC. The good far outshines these suggestions. Will stay again for sure!

  We love Savannah and 121 W Jones is an excellence location. Overall we find the Parlor nicely decorated and a pleasant atmosphere. There are a few issues that should be addressed and they seem to linger from our previous stays:
  1. It is extremely annoying that we are not allowed to enter the parlor by the front door. The explanation we were given is not logical. I was able to find replacement parts for the locks on-line. They are not original. The locks have worked fine in the past.
  2. The shower water temperature lacks adjustment. We had to request assistance and the solution was at best temporary.
  3. The kitchen facet needs to be replaced; it works on spray only and not well at that.
  4. The bathroom sink stopper needs to be repaired - minor repair.
  Our request for assistance with the shower was promptly addressed on Monday morning.
  With the above exceptions we had a very nice stay and look forward to staying again.

  121 W. Jones Parlor was an excellent accommodation and location during the time my daughter had her SCAD MFA Fibers Thesis Exhibition. Since she lives in the garden apartment, we were able to coordinate easily for guests, gallery prep, reception food prep, and ease of parking. The large kitchen was a huge help. While the apartment was great overall, there were several maintenance issues that need repair: kitchen faucet was not secure in the counter, 2 dirty/greasy baking sheets left in the ovens on check-in, towel bar not secure in the bathroom, dishwasher would not start, and dead bolt on kitchen door not working well. Otherwise, it is a beautiful apartment with quite a history and location. We would recommend it to others.

This home is beautifully appointed and has everything we needed for our stay. Traveling with a baby means having a lot of stuff, and we appreciated having our car at the property and not having to deal with street parking or a parking garage.   We stayed for six weeks and found the apartment well equipped, clean and well laid out. There was an issue with the A/C when we arrived but a visit from a serviceman sorted that out.   I'm in the resort business & have stayed at some very nice places worldwide but this one was just amazing! It was a wonderful experience. We loved the spacious rooms, multiple chandeliers, multi fireplaces & 2 porches. The furniture was comfortable & elegant. We decided to spend our last evening just enjoying the place. Location can't be beat, parking was great and management made sure we had everything we needed; very, very imformative. We looked for availability while we were still there. We can't wait to come back!

  My friend and I had just graduated college and decided to take a trip to Savannah. The room we stayed in was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. All of the amenities were so nice and everything was very clean. It was in a great, safe part of town and the two of us were comfortable walking downtown and back on our own. I would definitely like to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone I know!

  The rental has so many great spaces to spread out, and is utterly charming - I could've spent hours admiring the pocket doors, fireplaces, and ceiling medallions. But instead, we enjoyed all that was Savannah right outside our doorstep - the location truly is central to everything. My favorite space in the house was the front porch, I enjoyed sitting out there with breakfast, watching the world go by when taking an afternoon break from sightseeing, and watching the rain while staying dry and comfy. Parking was also a huge plus. This was my favorite accomodation out of my 8 visits to Savannah (my favorite city on earth)!

  This is the perfect property to feel the history of this beautiful city. The home itself is beautiful and like stepping back in time while enjoying the perfect modern touches. The location is in the middle of the historical district where every home is eye candy with wonderful parks to enjoy. I was able to walk to the river district to enjoy the shopping and restaurants. I loved everything about my stay my only regret was that it wasn’t longer.

  We stayed for a week in this historic home on Jones St. in a remarkably beautiful and convenient part of Savannah. We walked everywhere we wanted to go, and enjoyed being able to do so. We enjoyed restaurants, tours, and shopping and never had to get the car out to do so.
  The house was pretty clean; I had to clean some grime out of the fridge when we got there and the whole place would benefit from some dusting. My biggest disappointment was not being able to use the patio overlooking Jones St. . It was very dirty, and hadn’t been touched for a while.
  But, the house is beautifully furnished with period pieces ; it is quite impressive.Although we had many neighbors within the house, everyone was quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all.Overall, it was a nice stay and we would be happy to stay here again.

  This is the most elegant vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The unit’s decor is done in a classic French style, much like a very high end apartment in Paris. This place is made for entertaining.
  
  The kitchen is a foodie’s dream: double ovens, every utensil you could imagine to cook with. The outdoor spaces are lovely as well. The back space was great for morning sun, while the covered area was great for wine after a day of sightseeing.
  
  Location was also a huge selling point...you can walk the entire historic district, easy access to downtown.
  
  Feeling very blessed to have stayed here... highly recommended.

  My wife and I spent 12 wonderful days in this “parlor unit”. There are 4 levels to the building and this unit is on the level above the basement unit. It is an exceptional unit located on the most beautiful corner in Savannah (W. Jones St and Barnard). Easy walking to River Street, Forsythe Park, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is a parlor, large dining room, living room with large TV (Xfinity cable with DVR and premium apps i.e., Netflix etc). Living room also has a bar area with a bar refrigerator (1/2 for wine bottles and 1⁄2 for beverages). Antique and high-end furnishings throughout. The bedroom has a closet but no drawer storage (we used the drawers in the bathroom). It is very quiet at night. The bathroom has a full-service Grohe? shower, but no tub. Kitchen has high-end appliances throughout.
  
  Some things to note:
  • Included with the unit is parking in the rear of the building that is large enough to tandem park 2 vehicles.
  • The entrance to the unit is in the rear, off the alley. You will need to navigate 12 concrete steps that were constructed prior to OSHA requirements, meaning the rise is more than you are probably familiar with. Large heavy suitcases are not recommended.
  • The clothes dryer is not vented to the outdoors, therefore it has a “drawer” at the top that collects the moisture from the clothes. When that drawer is full of water the clothes will not dry. Pull out the drawer and empty the water into the shower.
  • The ceiling fan on the porch is controlled by a remote control in a drawer near the coffee maker. It took me 9 days to figure that out. No one I know can figure out a location for a wall switch. It’s still a mystery how to turn on the light associated with the fan.
  • Despite what Yelp might indicate, there are no grocery or gourmet stores within walking distance. There are only three I would recommend; Publix,

  Having stayed in this home when it was previously the Zeilger House B&B, we were thrilled to see the main floor offered as a rental. It was huge, well equipped, and absolutely beautiful. Located on what I think is the most beautiful street in Savannah, Jones, the location is perfect. Loved our stay!

  The address I had booked was 405 E Jones Garden. At around 7pm on our check in date I received an email with this property’s address and a revised quote for double the amount I had booked for. Apparently they switched my reservation at the last minute. We are flexible people so it worked out fine and we had a nice weekend, but it was frustrating that we went to the 1st address first and couldn’t get in. They ended up honoring the original quote. There was never any apology or explanation.
